Terry, fondly known to us as "Doc", grew up on a diversified farm in rural North Dakota. He worked as farm laborer for several years. He first tried his hand at physical therapy, practicing for three years. His love of cats inspired him to go to veterinarian school. Thankfully they accepted him, and he excelled. He graduated from the University of South Minnesota in 1985.
He practiced veterinarian medicine in several places in Montana. His calling came to him there, when he did some work with a sterilization outfit. He saw how the need for small pet sterilization, could greatly benefit the alarming rate at which animals are put down and the needless pain and suffering it always seems to cause. Looking to make a greater impact, he moved to Tulsa, then Oklahoma City, keeping his focus on low cost sterilization.
As quoted by a member of his staff, "Doc, is more of an artist, than a surgeon. His incisions are very small, and his work is clean." He has an amazing support staff, that keep him on track, and focused on the cause. Doc is the first one to admit, "without my wonderful staff, I'd be just another vet on the floor."
When Doc is not focused on his passion for sterilization, he enjoys skiing, hiking, roller blading, as well as working on various handy projects. He also enjoys mechanical engineering, and architecture.
